Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT)

VILT Courses 2021

We hope you all are safe during the COVID 19 pandemic outbreak. In the current emergency circumstances, we are considering various means and methods to mitigate risk and ensure Business and Training continuity.

As an initiative to help our students here in Trinidad and The Caribbean, we have decided to activate our Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT).

Our Autodesk Certified Lecturers at Central Tech are qualified Architects, Engineers, Surveyors and Designers working and training on the software on a regular basis, technical editing, training, and consulting on projects.

Central Technology Centre Ltd are leaders of AutoCAD and Autodesk Software Training in the region.

Please feel free to contact us if any other information is required.

Thanking You

Stay Safe ..... Social Distancing and Proper wearing of approved face mask may save lives.

Live, Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT).

Thanks to our Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) Remote Classroom Instruction technology, our live, instructor-led classes are fully interactive.

Our instructors can see all the work you're doing on the computer and can take control of a student's computer to provide direct assistance. You'll use the software and do hands-on exercises throughout the class.

Students can speak directly to the instructor at any moment during class, you all also can ask questions and start discussions via Zoom, Goggle Classroom or WhatsApp. You'll also be able to hear the other class attendees even though they're at various locations as we find Q&As are typically helpful for everyone's learning.

Class & Delivery Format FAQS

  • During the class will I be able to see the instructor?

In our VILT classroom, you can see the instructors and view the instructor's presentation.

All instructors use a webcam during introductions and briefly following breaks to “put a face to the voice.” The webcam is not running throughout the course. You will also be able to see the instructor’s computer as they're typically doing the class exercises along with you to help you follow better, plus you'll be able to view any presentation components including work done on the blackboard.

  • What if I have a question?

You simply voice your question via your computer Audio or WhatsApp bridge with the instructor. You can ask questions, ask for help, participate in any class discussions all just by speaking via the delivery Software used.

How many students are in a class?

We are licensed for 12 Seats but most classes have a maximum of 4 to 6 Students. Though the demand for our classes often exceeds that, we keep enrollments small to ensure personalized attention from our instructor.

  • What days and time are VILD classes?

Most classes are 36 to 40 contact hours and held Twice weekly Monday through Fridays 6pm to 9pm or Saturdays 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 3pm

  • What happens if I get stuck in a lab during class?

Just speak up to ask for help. The instructors are able to see your computer screen and they can take over control of it to provide you with individualized attention and help.

  • Do I have to install the software?

You will be directed to a Free Autodesk Licensed Student site to legally download and install your software, all other documentation will be provided to you by us.

Are there any class materials?

Yes. You will get digital manuals via email and hard copy of the digital manuals can be obtained by request for $ 250 tt each.

  • Are there breaks during class?

Typical Coffee and bathroom breaks are midway through the classes.

The duration for all breaks depends upon how well, the class is progressing through the material.

  • Is there a dress code?

We advise the students to attend class on VILT courses to wear casual and comfortable clothes for class.

  • Will I receive a certificate after the class?

Yes. Once your full attendance for the class has been confirmed by completing the Virtual evaluation a Certificate of Completion will be sent to you via email from Autodesk.

Tip: Your name and email address must be spelt accurately to ensure seamless certification.

  • How are your classes different from a web seminar?

In a web seminar, you typically just listen and watch an instructor presentation. There isn't a hands-on component. In many web seminars, you can't ask questions except for typing chat messages.

At our VILT classes, you can ask questions freely and participate in class discussions via the delivery software. You'll also be able to hear questions asked by other students regardless of their location.
